Questions about Abbelen products
Can consumers order samples directly from Abbelen?
We are pleased about your interest in our products. Unfortunately, we cannot send you any products as they need to be refrigerated. The temperature of 7°C may not be exceeded. Naturally, we ensure uninterrupted refrigeration from delivery down to the retail trade, which the post office cannot guarantee.
Where can I buy Abbelen products?
You will find Abbelen products in a lot of supermarkets and discount stores. If you cannot find Abbelen products there, send us an inquiry.
Why do you add iodized salt to your products?
For many years now, the Federal Ministry of Health has pointed out that the population suffers from a lack of iodine and has requested that iodine be added to food for this reason. We complied with this request and have changed our product recipes to this extent in order to do justice to the majority of the population suffering from a lack of iodine.
What are convenience products?
Convenience is a generic term for products and meals that only need to be heated for consumption, depending on their purpose and condition.
Who guarantees the quality of the Abbelen convenience products?
All the employees do everything in their power every day to produce goods of the highest quality. Product tests are regularly held within each production stage.
How does the aroma-protection packaging work?
Normal air comprises about 78% nitrogen, 21% oxygen and 0.036% carbon dioxide. In aroma-protection packaging, the oxygen content of the air is deliberately reduced by an increase of the nitrogen and carbon dioxide concentration.
In this way, the packed product is protected as well as possible. This has no kind of negative effects on the product, as this is a displacement of the concentration of the non-toxic gases that are in the air anyway.
