Cevapcici in puff pastry with spinach and sheep's cheese

Tastes even better than it looks


Ingredients for 8 portions:
  • 1 packet of Abbelen cevapcici (contents: 8 pieces)
  • 1 packet of deep-frozen puff pastry
  • 4 portion diceds of leaf spinach
  • 200 g of sheep's cheese
  • 1 egg yolk

Preparation:
Thaw 8 squares of puff pastry and roll out slightly larger. Thaw the deep-frozen spinach and add salt and pepper. Put some spinach, sheep's cheese and a cevapcici on to each pastry base, fold them up and push the edges together well. Paste the pastry with egg yolk. Bake for about
15 minutes at 200°C and cut each pastry into 5 pieces at an angle.

  • Go ahead and experiment with the filling. Instead of spinach, substitute Swiss chard, instead of Gouda use feta cheese.
