German-style pork burgers with sheep's cheese on Mediterranean vegetables

Almost like being in Tuscany

 

Ingredients for 5 people:
  • 1 packet of Abbelen German-style pork burgers (contents: 5)
  • 1 yellow, 1 green, 1 red paprika
  • 1 small aubergine
  • 1 courgette
  • 3 tomatoes
  • 3 cloves of garlic
  • 1 onion
  • Some twigs of thyme, oregano and rosemary
  • 200 g sheep's cheese
  • Olive oil

Preparation:
Coat an oven dish with olive oil. Remove the stalks and seeds from the vegetables and dice them. Mix with the chopped herbs, salt, pepper and put them into the oven dish, add a few drops of olive oil and cook in the oven for ˝ hour at 200°C. Stir once in-between. Place the burgers on the vegetables and coat with crumbled sheep's cheese. Put back in the oven for 10-15 minutes.
Serve hot or
cold.

  • Olives also go very well with this dish.
